S1E82 - The Odyssey and Katie Price: Nothing To Hide
Episode Notes
It's most appropriate that this weeks main offering is a review of The Odyssey because Will has been on quite the odyssey himself. He has returned from Australia having been beset by many obstacles. There was a ten euro coffee in Dubai airport, a pizza-eating possum in Sydney, a whole new hemisphere of stars to navigate by and a big banana in Coff's Harbour.
Lorraine, meanwhile, has been keeping the lights on at Pop Filter HQ.
This week, as I say, The Odyssey has been tackled and in an attempt to maintain standards, at least one of our heroes saw the film 'as Nolan intended'.
Does a 79 foot tall screen help or hinder the enjoyment? Will has the answer.
Next up, an opponent as formidable as anything Homer dreamed up: Katie Price.
Nothing to Hide is her four part documentary series currently showing on Sky/NOW TV.
It's a little more than your traditional 'star makes doc about themselves and lets themself off the hook quite a bit' format. Pop Filter are looking at you, Beckham!
It's a rogues gallery of exes, both romantic and business, all coming together to give us a better picture of the artist formerly known as Jordan.
Is it the case that, as novelist John Updike once said, 'Celebrity is a mask that eats into the face'?
This might literally be the best argument for that quote ever.
